The Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships is the show case event for Junior and Senior level athletes from across Canada. The participants compete, not only against their peers, but also against members of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team (CAST). The Pontiac GMC Canadian Championship event is made up of competitions from all five alpine disciplines (DH, SG, GS, SC and SL) and a Provincial Dual Race. It is a unique chance to see Erik Guay, Émilie Desforges, Manuel Osborne Paradis and Marie-Michèle Gagnon in action!
This year:
Mont-Sainte-Anne will host the Giant Slalom event;
Stoneham will host the Giant Slalom and Slalom event;
Le Relais will host the Provincial dual and Slalom;
Racing Schedule at Mont-Sainte-Anne:
Thursday March 20th, Giant Slalom, Mens, 10:00 and 12:30
Friday March 21st, Giant Slalom, Womens, 10:00 and 12:30
The medals ceremony will take on each day of the race at 2:00 (20 minutes after the end of the race).
