On January 30th, Mont-Sainte-Anne invites all sports enthusiasts to participate in a unique activity: R’osez le Mont-Sainte-Anne for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation! The resort is innovating and proposes a winter fundraiser that offers a ski marathon open to all. A pasta diner with silent auction will come after the challenge, before the much appreciated artist Yann Perreau offers a private concert for the cause, at the base of the mountain. For this first edition, the event organizers are thinking pink and will propose very ‘’feminine’’ demos, sampling animation from our partners to all participants and visitors there to cheer them on!
Outdoor day for ALL: alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing!
The activity is open to everyone: men, women, kids, families, colleagues and neighbours; whatever your fitness level, all can participate in this friendly marathon. The participants have to complete, alone or with a team, a total of 21 or 42 runs during the day to complete their half-marathon or marathon. This year, teams can truly participate together: runs can be done simultaneously! For instance: a team of 2 people can complete their alpine skiing marathon (a total of 42 runs) doing 21 runs together. The same rule is applicable for the cross-country skiing and snowshoeing marathons but in this case, the total will be cumulated in km. Several interesting prizes will be raffled among those that will have completed their challenge.
Private concert of Yann Perreau, trattoria at the base and silent auction at the summit!
This unique outdoor day will be followed by a hearty pasta meal at our trattoria specially set up in the Chalet at the base (with musician!) or at the summit Chalet, where the silent auction will take place. At night, Yann Perreau (5 nominations at the 2009 ADISQ, winner of the “author/compositor prize” of the year) will certainly heat up the Château Mont-Sainte-Anne (room Noroit/Suroit, at the base of the mountain) with his exquisite music, influenced by Europe and India. The private concert will start at 8 pm and will begin with the draw of prizes for the participants.

It is possible to sign up online (in french only). For those who want to sign up at the resort, you can come on Friday, January 29th, from 6 pm to 9 pm, or on Saturday, January 30th, from 7 am to 9:30 am, at the Noroit room of the Château Mont-Sainte-Anne.
Your participation includes: lift ticket or trail access, diner and auction, private concert of Yann Perreau.
