In February 1947, 20 years before the official opening of the ski resort in 1966, Mont-Sainte-Anne was the host of the Alpine Skiing Canadian Championships. This event was the first in a long list of major competitions. Mont-Sainte-Anne continues to participate in the development of the sport and the racers by hosting again this year several competitions and by offering training camps on the best pre-season race training conditions.
